Types of Wills

Standard Will [Starting at £265 plus VAT] Typically a residential property, one or two bank accounts. Total assets under the current Inheritance Tax threshold (£325,000).  Straight forward executors (e.g. married couple appointing each other) and beneficiaries (e.g. children).

Moderately Complex Will [Starting at £300 plus VAT] As above but additional complexities such as stocks, shares, crypto assets, back up Executor, Guardian requirements, specific legacies, charities, multiple gifts, uneven divisions between siblings, taxation issues and/or concerns over capacity to make a Will.

Complex Will [Starting at £500 plus VAT] As above but more than one residential property, agricultural/business land, property and/or assets.  Estate planning requirements such as trusts, foreign assets and/or difficult family situations or unusual personal circumstances.

Amendment to an existing Will [£125 to £175 plus VAT] Where subsequent changes are required for a Will that Eaton-Evans and Morris have recently completed for you.

We appreciate that the fees involved in Will writing are important to you. We review our fees on a regular basis, considering client’s feedback, to ensure we continue to offer a cost-effective Will writing service.

We typically work on a fixed fee basis for simple, moderate and complex Wills, so that from the outset you know what the fees will be for your transaction.
